The Finer Things

Jim Green, the owner of August Haven and WG&R furniture stores, wanted a commercial produced to promote August Haven as a lifestyle type of brand and set it apart from WG&R both in quality and attitude. Jim wrote and produced the “Finer Things” with Arum Rae which is the backing track of the commercial. With the song as a starting point, I was tasked with producing a 30 second commercial with Jim’s vision in mind. I came up with the idea of telling the story of an affluent woman and how fine furniture touched her life and elevated the experience of her night out. I was responsible for scripting, storyboarding, location scouting, lighting, directing, shooting, and editing the end product.
